چکیده
Abstract. The Tibetan Plateau (TP) plays an essential role in modulating regional and global climate, its influence on climate is also affected by human-related processes, including changes atmospheric composition. However, observations of composition, especially vertical profile observations, remain sparse rare the TP, due to extremely high altitude, topographical heterogeneity grinding environment. Accordingly, forcing feedback composition from rapidly changing surrounding regions environmental change TP remains poorly understood. This paper introduces a high-time-resolution (∼15 min) observational dataset (aerosols, NO2, HCHO HONO) for more than 1 year (2017–2019) using passive remote sensing technique. diurnal pattern, distribution seasonal variations these pollutants are documented here detail. sharing this would benefit scientific community exploring source–receptor relationships climate. It provides potential improve satellite retrievals facilitate development improvement models cold regions. freely available at Zenodo (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.5336460; Xing, 2021).

Vertical profile of atmospheric conductivity that matches Schumann resonance observations
We introduce the vertical profile of atmospheric conductivity in the range from 2 to 98 km. The propagation constant of extremely low frequency (ELF) radio waves was computed for this profile by using the full wave solution. A high correspondence is demonstrated of the data thus obtained to the conventional standard heuristic model of ELF propagation constant derived from the Schumann resonance...
متن کاملObservations of Water Vapor Mixing Ratio Profile and Flux in the Tibetan Plateau Based on the Lidar Technique
As a part of the third Tibetan Plateau Experiment of Atmospheric Sciences (TIPEX III) in China, a Raman water vapor, cloud and aerosol lidar and a coherent wind lidar were operated in Naqu (31.48°N, 92.06°E) with a mean elevation of more than 4500 m above MSL in summer of 2014. During the field campaign, the water vapor mixing ratio profiles were obtained and validated by radiosonde observation...
متن کاملStudy on Influences of Atmospheric Factors on Vertical CO2 Profile Retrieving From Ground-Based DIAL at 1.6 μm
Differential absorption lidar (DIAL) is widely accepted as the most promising remote sensing means to map the global CO2 concentrations. Nevertheless, diurnal variations and vertical distributions of atmospheric CO2 cannot be obtained by satellite-borne and airborne measurements. Ground-based DIAL systems are developed to fill this gap as well as serve as validations for satellite-borne measure...

The primary scientific objective of this research is to develop GPS sounding techniques for ground based atmospheric refractivity sensing. Atmospheric profiling with GPS from space has been demonstrated (e.g. Rocken et al., 1997). Ground based receivers have been used to determine integrated atmospheric water vapor above a site, but profiling techniques with ground-based GPS observations are st...
